This is my new favorite sake. As a food junkie, I generally accompany my drinks with any of a wide array of edibles, and I really liked how well this went with everything I could try alongside it. Not only did it pair well with food, but it was very drinkable as well. It was a nice balance between sweet and dry, just sweet enough to accentuate the flavors hiding behind this brides veil. I loved it! I'll be ordering this again very soon, and eagerly awaiting its arrival.

This is bar none the best sake I've ever had. And I'm on quite a sake roll these days, trying every variety I can get my hands on. Bride of the Fox takes the cake. Perfectly round and balanced taste with subtle notes of grapes and minerals. I can't imagine anyone on earth not enjoying this sake.

Kanbara "Bride of the Fox"

Junmai Ginjo

Description: Behold a brilliant nose filled with green grapes, minerals, wheat, and steamed rice. This Ginjo is a Totem Pole of personalities and each flavor has a face. Look high for deep and rich chocolate tones and peer low for a creaminess that screams "empty cup." The richness is the real play with this sake, as the depth and feel come forth when you use a larger drinking vessel. A cold weather Ginjo that has a warmth that red wine lovers could sink their teeth into.
