All of Taiyo Brewery's sake are classic Niigata style (crisp, dry, light). This award-winning brew is perfect for clearing the palate of thick sauces or strong flavors. The special combination that is Takanenishiki rice, a cross between Gohyakumangoku and Miyamanishiki, creates an elegant bouquet and aroma that is representative of an easy drinking sake to enjoy with many fine foods. This brew won the Grand Gold Medal at the 2011 Fine Sake Awards as well as the Gold Medal in 2013.
