Description: This "essential" sake has a classic nose filled with young strawberry, kiwi, grains, and a hint of green bamboo. Sogen is a sake drinker's sake. It is quintessential in the sense that it captures the Junmai experience with incredible balance and subtle persimmon hints. There are shades of cucumber that produce a gentle semi-sweet flavor, but the finish is dry and quick. This is a professional Junmai.
