Waka No Megumi "Sudachi"

$39

The Wakayama prefecture prodcues such a high volume of fruit it is affectionately known as The Fruit Kingdom. At the top of the production list includes citrus fruits:  yuzu, mandarin, orange, and sudachi—a cross between yuzu and a native Japanese orange. It is usually served as a garnish with many traditional Japanese dishes that include fish, noodles, tempura and some alcohol beverages. It is considered to have a zestier flavor and aroma then lemons or limes, and sudachi juice is used as an alternative to vinegar for many dishes. You can pair this Sudachi sake with Japanese food, Mexican food, and dessert. Or enjoy it alone.
