Shibata Pocket Sake: Nigori, Yuzu, & Black

$45

Pocket Sake Trio! What could be more fun to sample at home? Take on the go? Or give as  gift to a newbie? There is a little something for all the curious tastebuds: yuzu, craft sake, and nigori. "Pink" Nigori offers a velvety and smooth taste with orange and cherry blossom highlights, followed by a sharp dryness. Formulated with Ginpu rice from Hokkaido, this Junmai Ginjo-style Nigori exhibits a mellow, full-bodied profile. Black "Craft" Junmai Ginjo is crafted with Ginpu rice from Hokkaido, which is sought after for its crisp and refreshing taste profile. Shibata's Kanzui water or "God's water" yields a well-balanced sake with a mild finish. The "Yuzu" sake is crafted with a junmai base using Ginpu rice from Hokkaido that is blended with organic yuzu from the farm's local harvest. The juice retains its natural tartness, as the fruits are squeezed with their skins left on. Each yuzu fruit yields scarcely 20ml juice.
