Who said you can't drink your dessert?  Using the fuzzy pink umeshu as a base and adding fresh Wakayama strawberries from local farms, the result is a strawberry jam delight in a pour. For several days, strawberries are macerated to extract the most premium juicy, berry flavor. The result is a delight for the senses: a deep red color, an aroma of strawberry syrup, and a flavor that is surprisingly tangy, and overly sweet. We suggest leaving it in the refrigerator and enjoying sips on the sly, mixing it with a splash of soda, or even floating it with vanilla ice cream!
