Koshu Manyo Yamatsuru

$135

Mukashijitate is Japanese for “old school” and the perfect descriptor for this brew.  Only 20% of the rice grain is polished, with the remaining 80% for fermenting. The remaining 80% of the Tennotsubu rice pays off in dividends of a full-body flavor experience. An array of aromassteamed rice, peach, citrus, melon, and dairy [lots of umami]—complement the palate's experience. We recommend trying this heated to accentuate the flavors of the brew. Winner of the Gold Award (40 points) in the National Kan Sake Contest 2016 in the Premium Heated Sake category (40-45°C), out of 192 entries. It was also the winner of the Gold Award in the main category of the Fine Sake Awards 2016.
