Every drop of this brew is delicate and reminiscent of the element that it is named for: snow. The water used to make this brew comes from melted mountain snow that was filtered through the earth. The result is a gentle, fragrant, and refreshing taste.

Review of Denshin Yuki

The Sake was a gift and have not tasted it personally but was told the recipient very much enjoyed it.

Clean

Pour clear with no carbonation. Aroma is fruity, melon and a hint of yeast. Clean rice taste, slightly dry, light fruit with a clean finish. Very nice

Light and dry

Bottle (listed as 55% of the rice remaining). Pours with a clear water body and laser etched legs (nearly a 5). Subdued, rice, lychee, tropical fruit aroma. A bit of cotton candy and fresh melon. A bit of alcohol. Taste is super clean, a bit of bitter mineral component, long duration koji in the finish, fruit. Flavor seems to evaporate, literally like eating snow. Apt name (surprising considering all of the extremely embellished sake names out there). Yes, a very clean finish. Slightly more substantial and full bodied on the palate than the regular Junmai. A bit of alcohol, but it is pretty well hidden. I have been quite impressed with the Denshin lineup
